Beginners Course - 6 weeks (online)
This online beginner’s course is an ideal way to discover YOGA and is perfect for the complete beginner or for anyone looking to revisit the fundamentals of yoga.
You will be introduced into the basics of yoga postures, sequencing, healthy alignment, breathing and relaxation taught by experienced teacher, Jo Dowey. You will be able to work at a pace that ensures learning as well as the necessary guidance through the yoga postures.
This course will create a foundation from which you can confidently investigate if yoga is for you – working at your own pace in the comfort of your own home.

We are JOGA believe yoga should be fun and accessible to all - all shapes, sizes, ages (not just the stereotypical bendy-fancy-legging-wearing-types used to advertise yoga!) with a strong focus on anatomy and alignment. The yoga I teach is “breath and movement” not “spiritual”. Moving with breath is a perfect way to bring yourself into the present… putting away life’s stresses while we are on the mat. When we slow down towards the end of a class, we have moved to a place of stillness not just in the body, but also in the mind. It is my intention to inspire, educate and empower my students to get maximum benefits from their practice to increase body strength, stamina, flexibility and wellbeing.
